LL.B. and LL.M. coursework, Korea University School of Law. Passed the 31st Korean Bar Examination (1989).

Prosecution (1995–2008)

Served as a prosecutor for 13 years across multiple district offices including Incheon, Seoul Central, Gwangju, and Daejeon. Specialized in corporate crime, financial fraud, and intellectual property. Rose to the rank of Senior Prosecutor (Bujang-geomsa) and served as a research officer at the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office.

National Assembly (2016–2020)

Elected to the 20th National Assembly of South Korea. Served on the Science, Technology, Information, Broadcasting and Communications Committee, working on digital governance, smart cities, autonomous vehicles, and data protection legislation.

AI Policy Expert

Since 2024, focused on comparative analysis of AI policies and regulatory frameworks across 16 countries, including the EU AI Act, U.S. AI Executive Orders, and China’s AI regulations. Author of over 20 books on AI policy, governance, national security, and law.

Regular commentator on YTN Radio, CBS News Show, and KBC Broadcasting. Columnist for Electronic Times. Delivers AI lectures nationwide to government agencies, corporations, and universities.
